The Root Cellar Village Green Grocer Looking for Digital Marketing Coordinator at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Root Cellar team! As part of a dedicated marketing team, you will be responsible for managing the website and coordinating the online marketing strategies to drive measurable results, increase revenue, enhance and promote our brand, and engage with the customers and our community. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of social campaign creation and enjoy engaging with customers and our store teams. Previous experience in digital marketing is required and there is an excellent opportunity for growth!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Oversee the development and maintenance of our website using Word Press.
• Create engaging and compelling organic online content, daily and on a scheduled basis.
• Manage the advertising programs and promotions, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Analyze social media performance using Meta Insights and use Google Analytics to track website performance.
• Effectively communicate with customers via email to address complaints and concerns.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BRING:

• Degree in Marketing, Media or Communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ managing all social media platforms for business.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, G Suite, and Word Press is required.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills with the ability to create engaging content for individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to think big and track the details.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent project management skills.
