What it’s all about:
You are an experienced logistics professional who is comfortable dealing with multiple priorities and needs. You take a collaborative approach to working with other departments to ensure we are on track with our inbound freight management activities, customer service levels and business performance.
What you’ll do:
Create and manage Key Performance Indicators that report on supply chain / inbound freight performance, potential and shortfall
Assess, recommend and execute on shipment options with internal and external carriers and suppliers
Routinely review purchase orders and associated freight elements
Adjust and recommend cost improvement strategies in collaboration with internal and external partners
Audit carrier invoicing to ensure accuracy
Create and maintain SOP in respect to the role of Inbound Freight Specialist
What we need:
Post-Secondary education in the field of Transportation and Supply Chain an asset
Experience sourcing, reviewing and auditing transportation services
Advance Microsoft Office skills, including Excel is required
Experience in the Foodservice Industry an asset
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
