InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm specializing in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.
Our client, a leader in the skilled trades, is currently looking for a Machine Mover Assistant to join their team with a great attitude and willing to grow!
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company
- Assist the skilled trades to move machinery and materials around the job sites
- Operate Forklift
- Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing in deliver
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Material handling of manufacturing components as needed
- Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working at Heights is a MUST forklift experience is nice to have!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physically able to lift packages up to 50 lbs
