Our multinational retail client seeks a Sr Deployment Specialist for their team. The candidate will coordinate and participates in projects of diverse scope and complexity. The candidate will be the subject matter expert for the systems in their domain. They will collaborate with business units and provide technical solutions to meet business needs. They will help troubleshoot issues and provide paths to resolution, as well as develop requirements for the ongoing development of systems. This position responsible for providing support and coordination related to the Pharmacy application, and all the projects associated with the systems.
In addition, they will conduct quality assurance as changes are made to this system to ensure all functionality is maintained and that the system design meets business process requirements
Responsibilities
* Conduct and/or participate in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements with stakeholders for required system enhancements and prepare appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
* Participate in defect/error investigations experienced with solutions and drive resolution through internal agile teams and 3rd party partners as needed
* Collaborate with another agile team as needed to deliver cross-functional stakeholder requirements
* Use detailed knowledge of application features and functions to assess the scope and impact of business needs
* Utilize agile development methodology for continuous evolution and optimization for the solutions Support and Coordinate for continued development of the Pharmacy Operating systems based on Pharmacy workflow, ensuring patient safety, speed of service and effective use of pharmacy team roles to drive current business objectives.
* Analyze and define efficient, cost-effective solutions that support business processes and functional requirements and build business cases as need to support the solutions
* Coordinate/participate in testing enhancements as needed to maintain quality & performance standards in the software solution
* Actively participate in all phases of system implementation including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing and roll-out and support
Qualifications
* Experience interfacing WMS technologies and applications to back office systems an asset
* 1-5 years of related experience
* Basic reporting, HTML skills and Excel familiarity are preferred
* Experience with data extraction and data extraction systems an asset (SQL) is an asset.
* Experience in Agile Software Development an asset
* Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
* Able to facilitate issue resolution with multiple software vendor partners
* Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong motivation to learn new skills
* Demonstrate competence and understanding of Kroll systems.
