As they continue to grow, they are looking to add an experienced Site Superintendent to their team. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities during the construction phase of a project. The site Superintendent ensures that projects are completed safely, within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervision of all on-site operations which includes managing all regulated site safety policies.
• Monitor field operations ensuring work is being completed in accordance with the project schedule and specifications.
• Ensure sub-trade performance and quality of work meets the company’s Construction standards for customer satisfaction.
• Participate in site meetings and host required site safety meetings.
• Mentor any junior site personnel and participate in performance management programs.
• Other coordination, scheduling, and meeting responsibilities as required during project execution.
• Lend ideas for continuous improvement and other initiatives that support the company’s success.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• 3 or more years’ experience in ICI construction.
• Solid understanding of all construction trades and construction techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and field drawings.
• Current / valid safety training: Fall Arrest, WHMIS, First Aid. Gold Seal, LEED, Supervisory training / certifications are an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated effectiveness managing sub-trades and suppliers.
• Solid computer and technical skills.
• Ability to make sound and rational decisions under pressure.
• Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
• Positive attitude that reflects the company’s values and standards.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
