Team Energy Analytics (EA) Data Science team is dedicated to build products for clients in energy value chain. Machine learning models, statistics, algorithms, and domain knowledge are combined to build data products, which are deployed in robust data science platform to address industry pain.

Senior Data Scientist will design and build phenomenal products for Enverus’ EA Data Science team. Work closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, QA Engineers, and Domain Experts to develop data science models and well-written, production-ready code.

What you’ll do:

• Manage the development of data science product features.

• Build data products to solve business problems in the energy industry.

• Write well documented experiments and production-ready code.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers and other professionals to ship phenomenal products

• Find pragmatic solutions – right tool for the job

• Build and champion standards and technologies for the entire organization.

• Identify critical opportunities and work across teams to implement solutions

• Mentor and guide data scientists across a variety of technical challenges

What you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

• 3+ years of Data Science experience

• Modern development tools:Required: Python, Git, DockerIdeal: Numpy, Pandas, Kubernetes, Spark, Dask, or Ray

• Extensive experience with modern CI/CD

• Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms

• Knowledge of designed, interconnected, and deployed scalable production systems

• Experience with Scrum, Agile, and collaboration practices
