- We are recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to our male client with Quadriplegia.* *#UN2023**Our client loves cars and enjoys going for walks with his two small pet dogs.**Location:** Vancouver (Near VanDusen Botanical Garden)*Shifts & Hours of Work:** Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 9 AM to 1 PM* Saturday: 9 AM to 1 PM and 6 PM to 9 PM* Sunday: 9 AM to 4 PM*Compensation:** $25 per hour*Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):** Daily personal care such as catheter care, bowel care, and helping the client go to bed* Light housekeeping duties* Meal preparation and feeding* Supporting client with taking care of his 2 small pet dogs*Required Qualifications:** 1 year of caregiving experience required* Fully vaccinated* Must have a flexible schedule to work longer shifts* Must be comfortable supporting client with taking care of two small pet dogs* Must have experience with bowel care, including digital stimulation and disimpaction* Experience with using a ceiling track lift* Driver’s license is required_*Individuals with disabilities can be more susceptible to the severe symptoms of COVID-19.
