POSITION SUMMARY:
The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), a global leader in natural history and world cultures, is embarking on a transformative journey to revolutionize its public engagement initiatives. For over 80 years, ROMKids Camp has been at the forefront of providing imaginative and enriching experiences to Toronto’s youth. The ROM Kids Studio Assistant plays a pivotal role in the execution and management of ROMKids Camp activities, a diverse and experiential day camp inspired by the collections and research of one of the world’s leading museums, ROM (Royal Ontario Museum). This role calls for someone who is passionate about culture, the arts, natural history, and science, and who is keen on facilitating a transformative educational experience for children. The Assistant is responsible for a wide range of tasks from administrative duties to direct oversight of camp operations, ensuring a safe, educational, and enriching environment.
