Key Responsibilities:

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Compiling and meticulously analyzing financial data to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
• Ensuring that financial records are maintained in strict compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Meeting all financial reporting deadlines and preparing financial management reports.
• Overseeing the precise and timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Providing continuous management and support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Developing and maintaining financial databases.
• Preparing for financial audits and effectively coordinating the audit process.
• Overseeing the meticulous recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
• Evaluating and advising on business operations, including trends in revenue and expenditures, financial commitments, and future revenue projections.
• Collecting and analyzing financial information to recommend or develop efficient resource utilization and procedures, offering strategic recommendations, and devising solutions to business and financial challenges.
• Ensuring strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as maintaining the integrity of financial data.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A university degree in Business/Accounting.
• Progress toward a professional accounting designation is preferred.
• Food Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience in preparing schedules for year-end audits.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budget comparisons, and tracking.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications.
• Familiarity with budget preparation and analysis techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to motivate teams to deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
• The ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently.
• Strong ability to work well under pressure and meet established deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• The capability to draft and implement company policies and procedures.
• Keen attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
