The Clinical Education Coordinator reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Health Senior Leadership. The Clinical Education Coordinator (CEC) will provide educational leadership in the development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive clinical and multidisciplinary courses, workshops, seminars and student placements across Six Nations Health Services (SNHS). Expectations are to support the Health Services Director, Portfolio Leads, Managers and Clinical Leads in training, evaluation of clinical education and regular audits with the Learning Management System. The development and implementation of an annual training plan is an essential part of the role.
The CEC supports Health Administration in the implementation of the goals and objectives of the SNHS Programs while working within the administrative policies and procedures established for the Clinical Education Coordinator position for the Health Services department of the Six Nations of the Grand River.
The coordinator will also accept responsibility for fostering an environment based on Hodin:noshoni/Rotinohsion:ni values and principles of culture as foundation.

University degree or College Diploma in Health Sciences,Education or related area
Prior experience conducting education, including the preparation of materials
Knowledge and training in adult education and demonstrated skill in teaching
Demonstrated success leading small work teams
A proven ability to accurately gather, analyze, reconcile and report on audit data for high-level review
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Understands the importance of Confidentiality. Ability to work with tact and discretion
