Key Responsibilities
Consultant Coordination Expertise: We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just understand the intricacies of construction management on-site but excels at coordinating with consultants. Your role will involve collaborating with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure their instructions are not only prompt but also highly executable.
Architect Oversight: Architects may occasionally overlook crucial details, and our client needs a Construction Manager who can represent the Owner’s interests effectively. Your role will involve pushing architects to expedite instructions while also reviewing them for practicality and feasibility.
Effective Communication: Success in this role hinges on your ability to work harmoniously with all stakeholders. You’ll need to strike the delicate balance between assertiveness and diplomacy to ensure project progress without causing unnecessary friction.
Financial Vigilance: Monthly financial draws are critical in construction projects. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing each draw to identify errors and charges that shouldn’t be billed to our client, safeguarding their financial interests.
