Who are we?

Chrono Aviation was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly won over a clientele looking for a comfortable, efficient and safe flying experience.

After ten years of operation, Chrono Aviation now has a fleet of 15 aircraft and a team of over 280 employees. Chrono is the only airline in Quebec to offer aircraft from 9 to 120 passengers dedicated exclusively to charter. Role and context

Under the direction of the Operations team, the Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for checking, troubleshooting and repairing structural, mechanical and hydraulic systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures on various types of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in ground handling and cargo loading during special missions
  • Perform basic inspection work during flights, such as pre-flight, transit and maintenance
  • Carry out maintenance when the aircraft is stationary [AOG] outside, as well as any necessary servicing.
  • Liaise with the fleet management department and operations
  • Ensure that the aircraft documentation is complete and in compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Confirm that quarantined items are properly labelled and routed to the correct location
  • Communicate with external technical stakeholders and follow up with clients on work in progress

Specific Job Requirements

  • Hold an M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licence issued by Transport Canada.
  • Certified Aircraft Authorization (CAA) (or experience)
  • B737-200 qualification training is mandatory
