The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, Money Products, the Associate Product Manager will work closely with website developers and business stakeholders to help define, develop, and implement high quality solutions to deliver tangible customer benefits for our Mortgage and Credit Card verticals.
This is a 1 year contract with the possibility of extension.
The Associate Product Manager, Money will be responsible for:
· Assist in managing the Mortgage, Credit and Travel Insurance Product plan, while managing and delivering key initiatives.
· Managing the Money product lines development backlog and cradle-to-grave lifecycles; ranging from sunsetting legacy products to new features/products and ideas, collaborating with the project team to ensure development cadence.
· Prioritizing between new features, architectural improvements and operational excellence.
· Creating data flows and functional and technical specifications as needed, creating user stories by translating customer experience into technical requirements and product solutions.
· Scoping requirements for Product deliverables in collaboration with Engineering Teams and assisting them with providing necessary information on endpoints, inputs and outputs.
· Designing Product logic, algorithms and workflow for use with on-site calculators and other interactive resources.
· Analyzing product performance to help with efficiencies, better our user experience, drive ongoing optimization, and increase conversions.
· Driving buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships for the product.
· Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing of the websites.
· Researching market and industry trends and perform competitor product analysis.
To be a considered for this position you must have a strong appetite for learning and ability to apply those learnings to real problems. Having previous experience as a Product Manager or similar role is an asset but more importantly, we’re looking for someone with the skillset below.

Primary additional assets we hope you have demonstrated:
- 2+ years’ Experience with Financial Services, primarily experience with Mortgages and/or Credit Cards
- Experience with Product Management
- Experience writing algorithms and building calculator logic
- Experience with web development
- Experience conducting user test and a track record of incorporating that feedback into successful product improvements
- Experience conducting A/B test on product improvements and making data driven decisions on product feature rollouts
- Exposure to SQL databases and data querying
- Hands-on software testing experience for web-based applications/content
- Previous work experience in an Agile environment
It would be awesome if you have:
- Experience with Project/Account Management
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau and an ability to understand and explain data
- Experience with web content management tools like WordPress or Wagtail
- Experience with SEO, SEM, Content Marketing best practices
