Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales team as the first point of contact for prospective customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communications skills and be comfortable picking up the phone and conversing with both warm and cold leads. If you’re looking to break into sales, or have an eye on becoming a future Account Executive, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the initial response and follow up outreach for inbound leads (trial activations, demo/contact us requests, etc.) with the goal of booking meetings for the Sales team
  • Investigate all assigned leads using internal Rewind tools/other tech platforms to identify the correct contacts, and contact details to leverage in your outreach efforts
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop and execute on lead follow up plans for prospects generated from events and various other demand channels
  • Utilize our sales tech stack to build cadences and manage lead outreach via a variety of channels; phone, email, social, etc.
  • Challenge the status quo and find better and more creative ways to get your job done
  • Think outside the box and engage potential customers in unique ways
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of customer interactions in Salesforce
  • Meet lead response time SLAs and exceed weekly contact targets
  • Supplement your inbound lead activity with outbound prospecting efforts, focusing on ideal customer profiles and buyer personas

Qualifications

We’re looking for you if:

  • You’re a self-motivated individual that can meet ambitious targets
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills (you will be using the phone a lot!)
  • You have excellent time management skills
  • You’re energized by ambiguity and can create structure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • You’re a creative thinker, who, when needed, thinks outside the box to get things done
  • Bonus points if you have experience in SaaS and have worked with modern sales tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) and techniques
