Main Areas of Responsibility: In this role, you will:
- Implement a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for students.
- Monitor and support students’ overall progress and development.
- Facilitate a learning experience that helps students reach their potential.
- Contribute to raising student attainment standards.
- Share the responsibility of providing personal and academic growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience: The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Have teaching experience at the secondary level, ideally including multi-ethnic urban schools and 11-18 schools.
- Understand effective teaching and learning practices.
- Embrace high expectations and equal access for all students.
- Be proficient in ICT, including innovative use of interactive whiteboards.
- Create a motivating and safe learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies when needed.
- Manage time effectively, motivate students, and raise their aspirations through various strategies.
