Job Description:

Are you an experienced Bricklayer looking for a rewarding opportunity in the construction industry? If you are skilled in preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units, we have the perfect role for you.

Our Client are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Bricklayer to join our team. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for various tasks such as laying bricks, estimating materials and labor, reading blueprints, and ensuring the quality and precision of masonry work. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Lay Masonry: Skillfully prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, and other masonry units according to project requirements.
• Estimate Materials: Calculate the materials, labor, tools, and equipment needed for each project.
• Install Prefabricated Units: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Read Blueprints: Interpret sketches and blueprints to calculate the materials required for each project.
• Cut and Trim: Use hand and power tools to cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to precise specifications.
• Masonry Maintenance: Line or reline furnaces, kilns, boilers, and similar installations using refractory or acid-resistant bricks and other materials.
• Restoration: Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures as needed.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Physically Demanding: The role involves physically demanding tasks.
• Handling Heavy Loads: Ability to handle heavy materials and equipment.
• Standing: Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Bending, Crouching, Kneeling: Willingness to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
