One of our automotive clients in Simcoe, ON is looking for Service Technician for their facility.
Shift – Day
Responsibilities
- Identify the necessary parts and estimate repair durations.
- Compile an assessment of the required repairs and submit it to the Service Department.
- Create comprehensive work orders, detailing all necessary steps to be followed.
- Document completed work in specified sections of the work order, review, and sign upon completion.
- Apply paint to parts and pumps as needed.
- Conduct tests on various pieces of equipment and record results in the appropriate work orders.
- Respond to emergency calls, traveling to customer sites to troubleshoot and resolve issues at any time, day or night.
- Identify and procure necessary parts and equipment for emergency calls and service contracts.
- Ensure the mechanical and cleaning upkeep of service vehicles used for customer transportation.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency for External Technician positions as required (Eastern Territory only).
- Strong analytical skills, team collaboration, sociability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
