McKinney Looking for Account Manager at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Purpose

Lay the foundation for successful client partnerships by keeping the agency team organized and up to speed in all account activities.

Responsibilities

Mastery of the Basics

• Own meeting logistics and requirements for client meetings.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor, and oversee a wide variety of tasks with cross-functional teams ensuring all targets and requirements are completed or reprioritized on schedule.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on keeping up to date on Monday.com boards and due dates with Service Delivery and Account Teams.
• Provide advance notice to necessary stakeholders on project delays or shortfalls, and develop solutions and/or communication plans.
• Be knowledgeable and manage details of all assigned client projects.
• Ensure clients are proactively and consistently up to date on all projects.
• Responsible for the coordination and creation of presentation materials with appropriate team members.
• Maintain and archive detailed records of the life of a project on the agency server.

• Become and remain knowledgeable about the Client’s business including marketing/communication objectives, KPIs, category, competition, etc.
• Work with senior account management staff in preparation of client plans and recommendations.
• Determine if work is in scope/out of scope, work with Resource Planning on hours estimation.
• Maintain client status reports of all projects (job number, deliverables, status, next steps and key dates, hours).
• Work with Account Leadership, and other department heads to define time estimates for Projects.
• Work with Agency Operations to assign Account Resources to Project.
• Be informed of the internal project schedule to set accurate expectations with client and partner agencies.
• Identify the next steps (tasks, responsibilities and timing) for creative/brief based on client review.
• Maintain relationships with partner agencies and make them aware of production schedules and/or changes.

Professional Skills & Knowledge

Ability to apply smarts and common-sense understanding to carry out plans. Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across all departments within the agency. Ability to effectively write reports and business correspondence. Expert in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Collaboration Tools, especially in PowerPoint/Google Slides, as key communication tools. Experience with Project Management software, especially Monday.com, as well as Box.com for file management.

SALARY RANGE

Our estimated range for this role is $50k – $60k

Compensation packages are based on the skill level and experience each candidate brings to their role. There may also be a more senior or junior position available that could be a better fit with your expertise. Each level has its own compensation range.
