We are searching for a dedicated and highly skilled Process Engineer with specialized knowledge in robotics and failure analysis. This position plays a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing and production processes by integrating robotics, automating tasks, and conducting detailed failure analysis to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization:
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Focus on Product development, tuning and serial production including troubleshooting any technical issues
- Design, develop, and implement robotics solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate robotics into the existing workflow.
- Perform ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Reviews dyno rejects and guides the tear down technicians in the tear down and repair of the dampers.
- Failure Analysis and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct comprehensive failure analysis of products, processes, and equipment to identify root causes of issues.
- Work with the team on product development to establish tuning, serial production design, performance specifications, valve code tuning and tolerance
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and address failures, thereby improving product quality and reducing downtime.
- Establish testing and quality control procedures to monitor product quality and process integrity.
- Continuously monitor and analyze data to make data-driven recommendations for process and product improvements.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Provide input to the development and implementation of mechatronic system through all steps of the process.
- Analyzes the tear down failure modes and provides feedback.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control requirements.
- Assist in audits and inspections to demonstrate compliance and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience of minimum 5 years in process engineering, with a strong focus on robotics and failure analysis.
- Six Sigma black belt certification would be an asset.
- Experience in Process Engineering and performing automotive related development/testing tasks.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of failure analysis.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and process improvement.
- Project management experience is a plus.
