Hiring a Carpenter for High Rise Project in Downtown Edmonton

Description:

This person will be working on a commercial new construction project in downtown Edmonton.

The job will start off with building hoarding for slab pours.

Afterwards, they will also be responsible for framing and finishing carpentry within the units.

They will be working with a large crew and other sub trades. They will be given direction from the foreman at the start of their shift and left to complete the tasks assigned.

Will be working for a general contractor, so there will general labor work if there is no carpentry work to do.

May also be responsible for Installation of Doors, frames, hardware & misc accessories

The ideal candidate will have a safety first attitude, a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

• Transit Accessible

• Free parking available

• 44 hours a week – mon to Friday – sat is OT – over 44 hours in a week is OT

• Typical shift is 6:30am – 6:00pm

• Break would be two 15 minute coffee breaks and a 30 minute Lunch and after 9 hours there can be an extra 15 minute break

Must have your own PPE and Basic Hand Tools
