ML6 Search + Talent Advisory Looking for Project Manager at Burlington, Ontario, Canada Full Time

The Opportunity:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support pre-construction planning, coordination and quoting (HVAC design, floor systems, trusses and planning for bulkheads of services)
• Coordinate project timeline and ordering of long lead time items such as windows, exterior doors, siding, etc.
• Ongoing updates of project scheduling and communication status and changes with all stakeholders
• Monitoring of quality and accuracy of all subcontractor work
• Procurement of all construction materials (lumber, windows, exterior products like siding, concrete, etc.)
• Manages full scope of multiple projects simultaneously (typically 2-4 projects at a time)
• Communicate with the design department on updates and changes that could affect design or scope of work as the projects progress
• Coordinates site meetings and walk throughs with clients and any additional site meetings with subcontractors, architect, clients, or other stakeholders as needed

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with construction projects, preferably residential (custom build, renovation)
• Post-secondary education related to trades is an asset. Project Management training or certification is an asset.
• Good business sense with an interest in contributing to process improvements and other company initiatives that impact quality, effectiveness, and employee/client experience is strongly desired
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, design drawings and specifications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize, anticipate, critically think and make sound decisions
• Computer proficient including MS Office. Experience with design software and/or Buildertrend is an asset. Willingness to learn if not already experienced is required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean Abstract is required. Experience and/or to tow a trailer or become licensed to tow a trailer is preferred.
