- Coordinate recruitment and staffing for site-based positions
- Recruitment activities – ATTRACT and RECRUIT:
- Review resumes, source candidates, pre-screen, interview, and assess candidates in partnership with hiring managers
- Contact qualified candidates to present job offer
- Complete processes and update the ATS info, ensuring a professional applicant experience
- Co-ordinate the interview process for hiring team and candidates, and notify applicants of results
- Compile weekly statistical information pertaining to attraction and recruitment activities.
- Participate in internal recruitment and HR processes and practices
- Participate on social networking sites to promote employment opportunities
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote our employer brand and source top talent.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience working in a similar or related role within the construction industry
- Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Superior communication and people skills paired with strong negotiation skills
- A proactive self-starter who can operate as part of a team and individually.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Must have experience as a Trades Recruiter.
- Knowledge of the AB market is critical.
- Knowledge of the BC and SK Markets is a real asset.
