Alstar Group is currently seeking experienced Material Coordinator to work at one of our Northeastern BC longterm field sites. Successful candidates will be responsible for receiving and coordinating materials for this site. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Properly coordinate owner supplied materials
- Preservation and tracking of material
- Determine and direct material transfer
- Coordination of materials for the job site
- Control and monitor daily changes to material needs to meet production due dates
- Operate equipment (skid steer and Telehandler)
Requirements
- Must be very organized
- Experience in procurement and materials control and coordination roles, preferably in a construction environment is an asset
- Good computer skills
- Five years as parts technician or higher would be considered an asset
- Previous experience in pressure piping and fabrication considered an asset
- QC administrative experience considered an asset
- High school diploma
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with all internal and external contacts
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Material Tracking Reports and Material Receiving Reports
- Standard First Aid – Level C
- H2S Alive
- CSO
- Skid steer and Telehandler tickets and operate at a competent level
