TriOptus Looking for Accountant at Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Job Description:

Our client, a thriving and growing manufacturing company located in Mississauga, is looking to add an Accountant to their team! This position is 100% onsite.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Oversee full cycle accounting duties, including Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger
• Process payroll for 30-60 salaried employees.
• Month-end and year-end closing activities including bank reconciliations.
• Comply with federal and provincial legal requirements by compiling and filing WSIB, HST, EHT, ROE’s, PST, source deductions and T4s.
• Matching Purchase Orders to invoices from Vendors (qty/pricing and receiving)
• Regularly conduct collection calls and emails to ensure outstanding payments are received.
• Processing payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
• Other related accounting and administrative duties upon request.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior accounting roles
• Knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks Online
• Experience working with MS Excel and a variety of accounting software
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments/teams
• Ability and willingness to work independently
