Moneris Looking for Vice President, Marketing at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

We’re looking for a Marketing thought-leader, collaborator, and agent-of change to lead Moneris’ marketing strategies, channels and campaigns and continued transformation of our marketing practices across our paid, owned and earned channels. You will drive maximum acquisition and engagement across all existing and emerging media channels to help drive our revenue targets and reaffirm Moneris’ position as the leading payment solution provider in Canada.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto, ON office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Your Moneris Career – What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement with your team annual marketing and customer acquisition strategies, both through traditional and digital channels and methodologies alongside our different partners, to continue transforming our multiple media channels into world-class customer acquisition and engagement channels.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a senior team faced with a significant change mandate with an emphasis on attracting, developing and retaining top talent and creating a culture of collaboration and accountability with the internal and external partners.
• Lead Moneris’ customer engagement and acquisition strategies and programs, both through our own media channels and through Moneris’ partners including our partner banks (RBC & BMO) and various other distribution partners.
• Work with Sales leadership to ensure continued collaboration across all Sales and Marketing projects and goals.
• Oversee the annual marketing budget and ensure full accountability on budget allocations across the channels to drive maximum ROI. Track, monitor and analyze KPIs of all marketing channels, campaigns and initiatives to measure effectiveness and ensure marketing spend and efforts are always optimized to achieve maximum acquisition and revenue for Moneris
• Lead Moneris’ marketing automation programs and technologies and continuously evolve strategies to ensure utilization of the best marketing tools and platforms in the market and introduce and test new emerging channels and technologies to ensure Moneris stays on top of the latest marketing trends.
• Collaborate with our creative studio the evolution and preservation of the Moneris brand and style guide.
• Provide direct support, counsel and advice to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in all areas of marketing and branding.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues across Moneris and all other key external partners.

Your Moneris Career – What You Bring

• University degree in Marketing and/or Business or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years’ experience leading teams, driving Vision and Purpose, translating strategy to objectives for team to create line of sight and shared accountability for success.
• Demonstrated ability to create and align strategy through planning and project delivery in the context of the organization’s overall strategy as well as end customer needs.
• Demonstrated skills and in-depth knowledge of digital marketing, including the development and execution of social media marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
• Fluency in data analytics.
• Cultivate innovation while bringing a global perspective, viewing issues/opportunities from company and industry wide lens that and finds ways to promote and move ideas forward.
• Manage complexity and build partnerships across the organization with comprehension of the challenges to project implementation and ability to introduce new improved processes.
• Resolve situations that involve recognizing and responding to underlying concerns where others need to be convinced of the value of preferred alternatives or compromise solutions.
• Experience delivering and communicating presentations at executive and board levels.
