We’re hiring a contract Technical Sourcer to support sourcing efforts across our Tech teams. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a Sourcer, providing sourcing support for all roles within the Engineering job family, particularly senior-level engineering leadership roles. With a large focus on identifying Director+ talent, you must have a background that demonstrates your ability to source and engage this level of talent. Additionally, you’ll bring excellent partnership and collaboration skills as you will work closely with our Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting and other Recruiting team members throughout the hiring process.
This is a part-time (15-20 hours a week) role for 8 weeks and MUST be located in Canada.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with our Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting to deeply understand role requirements, functions, and how each fit into the organization
- Strategize on different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, and sourcing campaigns while keeping a strategic focus on diversity at every stage of the funnel
- Effectively manage candidate pipeline through sourcing, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial candidate screens
- Create market maps that provide industry insight as well as competitive intelligence to assist in our hiring efforts
- Utilize a data-driven approach to analyze, forecast, track, and communicate key operational metrics to the business, while using metrics to drive operational excellence
- Provide recruiting metrics to Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting
About You
- 4+ years technical sourcing experience at a fast-paced technology startup with experience supporting Software and Hardware Engineering recruitment
- Experience sourcing and engaging executive-level engineering candidates
- Previous track record of building and nurturing relationships with passive candidates
- Expert knowledge and experience running unique sourcing strategy on multiple sourcing channels (not just LinkedIn)
- Ability to source a high volume of candidates while maintaining a high bar for candidate experience
- Data driven, resulted oriented, and progressive thinking when it comes to understanding the talent market and our pipelines
Benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, experience and other qualifications as well as the candidate’s location of residence.
