GreenEco Investments is an investment company which values loyalty, partnership, and ideas. We are growing and are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join our exciting team.
Our primary focus of operations falls on the green agenda through emission reduction projects. However, our investing arm reaches other sectors as well, such as energy transition, oil & gas, and real estate. You will be responsible for the office’s day-to-day investment analysis across a magnitude of opportunities and report preparation.
We are looking for a Jack or Jill of all trades with a high degree of organization, attention to detail, well-developed interpersonal skills, and a can-do attitude. However, most importantly, we seek a person with strong business acumen and a desire to learn.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Market research and information processing
- Financial analysis, modelling and projections
- Report and deck preparation
- External environment assessments
- Ad-hoc tasks, such as meeting coordination, as assigned
Qualifications
Some of the main characteristics we are looking for in you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Business, Finance…)
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a business environment
- Ability to assess and calculate key financial and return indicators (IRR, NPV, FCF…)
- Proficient with research utilizing credible open-access sources
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, most significantly – Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with professional language knowledge
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, multi-tasker
- Proven ability to work efficiently towards defined goals with strict deadlines
- Desire to learn and self-improve
- Team player with a sense of humour

- This position is an in-person position, the office location is a 3 minutes walk from King Subway station
- The typical working schedule is Monday – Friday, 9:00-5:00, however, is subject to change based on workflow
- We are open to students in their final semester of studies and will start out on a part-time basis, with a possibility to convert to full-time upon graduation
- Candidate must have legal authorization to work in Canada
