Shift – Night/Afternoon

Resposnibilities

• Maintain all electrical production equipment and building fixtures, encompassing general and emergency/exit lighting systems.
• Modify existing equipment and install new equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electric/electronic systems, fine-tune equipment, and ensure functional controls and safety measures.
• Conduct mechanical maintenance on machinery and automation.
• Coordinate the ordering of appropriate replacement parts through the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety Act guidelines. Fulfill any reasonable requests from management.
• Additionally, be accountable for the accuracy and correctness of all documentation across various levels of employees in Production, Tool Room, Quality, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in repairs and troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.
• Grade 12 and licensed as an Industrial Electrician.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, as well as proficiency in PLC programming.
