About The Role & Team
As a People & Culture Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating a robust employee experience ecosystem. The People & Culture Team is divided into two focuses: People Development and Employee Engagement. The P&C Specialist will support both teams from a logistical and administrative lens.
About The Work
Performance Cycle
- Support the performance review and goal setting cycle with communication, reporting, creating training resources and other logistics as needed.
- Track, update and analyze people data sources such as departmental Career Journey’s, and external professional development courses.
Learning & Development
- Complete administrative and logistical tasks to support our training programs. This includes scheduling, roster management and occasional facilitation/training as needed.
- Assist in the creation of training programs/documents/ resources using software like Google Slides, Wistia, Canva, Adobe, and similar softwares.
Employee Engagement
- Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention based on feedback and organizational action plans.
- Coordinate onsite and virtual employee engagement programs and events through marketing, set up/tear down and logistics.
- Participate in the development and reinforcement of recognition, rewards, and perks programs to enhance the employee experience
Onboarding & Orientation
- Support the onboarding process for all new employees. This includes facilitating new hire orientation, crafting orientation agenda’s, creation, and maintenance of new employee toolkits and systems, conducting surveys and initiatives that enhance the overall onboarding experience.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
- Champion organizational Diversity & Inclusion efforts – assist in integrating Diversity, Equity, Belonging, Inclusion & Accessibility in all our programs and processes.
About You
- A post-secondary diploma, degree or certificate in Human Resources preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources, Talent Management or Learning & Development.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly collaborative and creative with a passion for bringing innovative People & Culture programs to life.
- Self-motivated with the ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working with HRIS Systems (UltiPro/UKG), ATS systems (Greenhouse & iCIMS), and Talent Management Software (Lattice).
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, E-mail, etc.).
- Intermediate working knowledge of Google Workspace (Particularly Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms).
