We are currently looking for a Residential Real Estate Development Coordinator to join our team in Mississauga!
DESCRIPTION:
The Development Coordinator will be involved in supporting the development process of new projects. The ideal candidate is a strong self-starter with effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while producing quality and accurate work. The individual will be exposed to all aspects of development management and will demonstrate resourcefulness in tackling tasks and assignments. This opportunity offers the ability to contribute to complex and interesting development projects while learning from a team of experienced professionals. The role is best suited for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment and is able to remain organized to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining up-to-date project files;
- Assisting with project accounting;
- Organizing all paper and electronic project files, and drawings;
- Recording minutes in team and consultant meetings;
- Coordinating and booking team and consultant meetings;
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly development reports.
- Generally, support the Development Manager with day-to-day development tasks and assist with driving the development process. Coordinate project deliverables and follow up.
QUALIFICIATIONS:
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience assisting with project management in a related field;
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Development, Architecture, or Planning;
- Keen interest in the real estate development industry;
- Efficient and effective time management, demonstrating ability to meet deadlines;
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Recognized analytical and research skills;
- The ability to handle a substantial workload, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
- Problem solver with a willingness to ask questions and find solutions;
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail;
- A team player with strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
