ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is an established Saskatchewan-based equipment manufacturer, focused on bringing distinctive solutions to the farm equipment industry.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
As the Production Supervisor you will coordinate, organize, plan, and assign jobs and complete first off inspections on all products to ensure customer expectations are met. You will ensure that all employees are trained in the correct and safe operation of equipment, complete and accurate completion of timecards, complete and accurate completion of work orders and quality checks.
WORK SCHEDULE
The Production Supervisor works Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar manufacturing environment
- Experience in forming, winding and stress relieving of spring wire.
- Ability to read, understand, follow work orders, drawings, and blueprints.
- Proven capability of setting up and operating equipment, such as: CNC Formers, Loopers, Forming Press, Ovens, Trimmers, and other equipment used in the area.
You will be a positive and cooperative team player who is capable of working with minimal supervision. A good mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential in this role. You will be able to meet the physical demands of the job, deal with pressure on the job in a positive manner, delegate tasks and follow up to ensure tasks are completed, and plan and organize.
