Position Summary

NanoVation Therapeutics (NTx) is looking for a collaborative and people-focusedDirector, People& Culture to help build, strengthen, and support our team (NanoVators).

Reporting to the CEO, theDirector, People& Cultureis responsible for advancing NTx’s HR strategy by leading the HR department, contributing as a member of the Leadership Team, identifying, and growing the department through idea generation and evaluation, project design and implementation, resource management and thought leadership in support of our employees and our corporate objectives.

Some Of The Ways You Will Contribute

Strategy and Leadership

• Exemplifies the company`s overall purpose and mission. Actively leads, contributes to, and supports our core values = Think Big. Innovate. ACT = Innovation,Accountability,Collaboration,Trust.
• Works closely with other team members to implement the NTx’s strategic plan.
• Represents HR and provides regular status reports to the Leadership Team on the nature of HR related issues as well as provides data and recommendations to guide discussions and resourcing decisions.
• Identifies, proposes, and executes the department’s strategic direction to achieve agreed upon objectives and key results (OKRs). Aligns annually on the focus of OKRs to address any system or chronic roadblocks, including the identification of areas where improvements are required.
• Evaluates HR programs and opportunities, making changes as required.
• Develops talent and creates succession plans.

HR Portfolio Responsibilities

As an expert HR advisor: develops, implements, and leads programs and policies that support our employees and organization including:

• HR Strategy and support
• Full Cycle recruitment and onboarding
• Engagement& wellness
• Organizational optimization
• Compensation and benefit management and administration
• Performance management (15Five) and employee development
• Training and development
• HRIS& payroll management (Rippling)
• Leads and mentors the HR and Administration team
• Other duties as required

What you bring and build upon as a member of our team:

• Degree or Diploma in HR Management, CPHR, or the equivalent education and work experience. MBA or complimentary education is considered an asset.
• 14+ years of progressive HR experience in leadership roles.
• Strategic thinking and planning in all areas of business. Ability to make sound and timely decisions.
• Strong business knowledge in role and understanding of the life sciences industry.
• Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, summarize and communicate business case information.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, determine and lead company and departmental vision, objectives, and goals.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, adapt and thrive in an entrepreneurial, growing, and changing work environment.
• Proven ability to build and lead an effective and engaged team to positive results.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral: Communicates with respectful, honest, open, and objective communication.

What We Offer
