The Opportunity
Reporting to the SH-Structural Heart business unit Finance Manager/Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for generating insights by analyzing financial and non-financial data. The insights/analysis will be at aimed at growing revenues and managing operating costs. Moreover, the SFA will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of financial/management reports and presenting meaningful information/insights during the monthly performance evaluation process. The SFA will be actively involved in the forecasting and budgeting process for the business unit.
What You’ll Do

Analyze financial and non-financial data, summarizing key insights to aid decision making by the senior management.

Build financial models and dashboards to analyze historical data and performance vs operating plans/targets (using advanced excel and Power BI functionality).

Execute the forecasting and budgeting process to generate accurate and complete P&L forecasts.

Deliver target P&L by tracking performance, highlighting major variances, and recommending actions to deliver target KPIs.

Ensure accuracy of financial information/statements at month, quarter and year ends, including key expense and balance sheet reconciliations.

Execute process controls to ensure the integrity of financial statements and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Maintain data accuracy for various financial systems to enable accurate financial analytics and information.
Required Qualifications
-
B. Commerce degree or 4-year accounting degree.

Accounting qualifications/certifications will be considered an asset.
-
4-6 years of relevant experience (FP&A/Commercial finance/business partnering).

Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and SAP/any other ERP systems.

Experience with managing and processing large data to generate summarized meaningful insights. Building performance dashboards using advanced Power BI functionality.

Independent Self-starter with the ability to proactively manage and align internal and external stakeholders.

Attention to detail for accuracy and completeness of financial and non-financial data and information.
-
Possesses a strong sense of professional integrity and responsibility, ensuring complete adherence to required submissions and timelines.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders, equipping them with the required financial and non-financial information/insights to aid commercial decision making.

Ability to challenge status quo, implement process improvements and present problem-solving & efficiency improvement initiatives.
