Job Summary
The Civil Engineer will provide professional and cost-effective designs for civil infrastructure services. The Engineer will work on residential, industrial and commercial development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with clients throughout the project design process
- Develop efficient designs that meet clients’ expectations
- Ensure that all designs are compliant with criteria from approval agencies
- Use software to provide professional and cost-effective designs
- Deliver designs on time as per project schedule
- Work on other tasks, as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Civil Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering Technologist
- 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in the design of civil infrastructure services for residential, industrial and commercial developments
- Hands-on experience designing storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water mains and water distribution networks
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Skilled with Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
