About the Opportunity
- Financial ReportingPreparation and review of the company’s financial reporting, including but not limited to:
- US GAAP financial statements
- US GAAP Group reporting
- Local financial statements and regulatory reporting (Bermuda reporting and others as required)
- Preparation of journals entries for consolidation
- Liaison with external auditors, internal teams in division and local business units
- Preparation of routine and non-routine reporting to legal entity Board and Audit Committees, as well as senior management
- Perform financial controls for the company.
- Project ActivityManage or participate in a wide variety of initiatives which will vary considerably in terms of topic scope and duration. Topics include:
- Assisting in the implementation of new systems and processes to help streamline financial reporting.
- Assisting in the implementation of new intercompany retrocession arrangements.
- Challenge the status quo Finance processes and working practices, systems and controls and drive the efficiency and improvement of these. This includes contributing to Back Office transformation project.
- About YouCPA designation
- Qualified accountant with minimum 3-4 years or strong reporting and accounting experience
- Strong financial and regulatory reporting experience, in the insurance industry or other financial services organizations, preferably with US GAAP reporting experience
- Proficient in the use of Excel
Salary Range
$90,000 – $95,000/year
