We are seeking a motivated Head of Operations with experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company, coupled with the ability to skillfully motivate team members to strive harder and achieve their outcomes. We seek someone who is proactive and goes above and beyond expectations. We need a strategic leader with excellent problem-solving abilities and someone who is vocal about identifying and addressing problems or faults. Additionally, we are looking for a results-driven leader who can set departmental OKRs or KPIs and review them regularly.

This role is a full-time remote position.

Location: Europe and Canada.

Salary: 70-95k USD/ year.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Directly overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations (including service delivery), HR, supply chain, project management, and accounting/finance functions, as well as employee productivity
• Collaborating closely with the founders to implement operational processes and business strategies aligned with the company’s goals
• Strategizing the growth of our operations in line with our growth trajectory, ensuring our backend and infrastructure can support our expansion without any disruptions
• Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies that promote the company culture and vision
• Conducting team performance reviews to ensure alignment with our goals and maintain our trajectory towards achieving them
• Setting and monitoring operations performance using OKR/KPI tracking, establishing corrective measures as needed, and preparing detailed reports for current and forecasting purposes
• Managing staff professional development and engagement opportunities, and maintaining overall operational accountability across the company
• Ensuring effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in executive/leadership positions within Operations
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the Ecommerce industry
• Proven track record of building, leading, and managing operations teams and delivering high-impact projects within short timelines
• Ability to develop and enhance effective agency operational systems, metrics, and processes
• Good understanding of data analysis and performance metrics (OKRs, KPIs)
• Experience in hiring and building teams based on company needs
• Familiarity with Project management tools, preferably Notion and ClickUp
• Supply chain
