Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Western Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Critical Power and Distributted Infrastructure (CPDI) division . This position is based at our Delta, BC facility and offers benefits from Day 1.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $110,000 – 150,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
Responsible for leading the Western region (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba) in the sale & promotion of all CPDI product and service offerings; including three phase and single-phase UPS, software, connectivity and peripheral products, service contracts, parts, replacement batteries, and monitoring products. These offerings are supported by direct staff and manufacturer agents and are sold through multiple channels including; distributors, two tier channel partners, engineers/specifiers, and direct. Must have the ability to manage our sales partners as well as drive sales to end user customers through value selling of Eaton.
Essential Functions:
• Lead the effort in managing and maintaining relationships within a network of distribution partners and manufacturer agents for CPDI products & services
• Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within assigned sales region, through agents, distributors, resellers and direct.
• Maintain and manage profitability in the region.
• Work in conjunction with the National Sales Manager and national teams to promote a unified front to the customer, drive consistency and process improvement across geographies, share best practices, and drive growth.
• Build Capabilities throughout the region, through active engagement with other Eaton Divisions.
• Manage and update sales funnels, reports and regular forecasts.
• Prepare and present comprehensive business reviews of assigned customers, identifying performance against goal/budget on regular basis, detailed forecast for the rest of the year with deep dive analysis.
• Maintain a high level of expertise of all applications and trends to effectively promote Eaton CPDI products and solutions. Complete ongoing training on both functional and technical skills
• Gather and leverage the voice of customer to recommend new or modified programs enabling the competitive position to be maintained in the market.
• Utilize negotiation skills to influence and resolve complex problems, capture value and influence all stakeholders to drive results.
• Maintain positive relationship with Customer Service teams and serve as an escalation point to ensure all customer inquiries, orders, invoices, payments, and complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively.
• Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, set objectives, establish priorities, and hold accountable by providing timely coaching and feedback.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree or Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma
• P.Eng or C.E.T designation is preferred
• Ability to work in Canada without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
• University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with and having technical involvement with power quality electrical products and assemblies.
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with and having technical involvement within the Canadian IT Market involving UPS, connectivity, and peripherals
• 1 years’ experience using data analytics; digital marketing
• 1 years’ experience in sales or customer service
• Knowledge and application of support for B2B and B2C businesses
