As a Community Homes Clinician, you will provide individual, family, and group counseling services to children or adolescents in an 8-bed group home. In conjunction with the Program Manager and staff, you will be responsible offering a wide range of therapeutic services to residents with a focus on trauma-informed interventions to increase the resident’s use of coping skills and pro-social skills in the home, school, and community and decrease unsafe or disruptive behavior. In collaboration with guardians, referring agencies, school personnel, and natural supports, you will lead the multi-disciplinary teams in the development and on-going implementation of the resident’s individualized plan of care. You will participate in FAPT, Court, and various community meetings, and provide counseling, education, and support to parents and/or caregivers in behavior management strategies to practice during treatment and to incorporate in the home setting upon discharge.

Education and Experience Required: Community Home Clinicians will be a LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCP or other independently licensed professional by the Department of Health Professions. OR a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work, registered with the appropriate Board and receiving ongoing clinical supervision towards licensure with appropriate licensed provider.
