Rangeland Engineering Looking for Senior Project Manager at Calgary, Alberta, Canada Full Time

Rangeland Engineering is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for our EP/EPCM/EPC projects in our Calgary office.

This role has overall responsibility for overseeing the development of project scope and deliverables in conjunction with our clients. Accountable for the development and adherence to budgets, schedules/milestones, change management and communication. In addition, to the coordination of project staff and sub-contractors to ensure safe, cost effective, efficient and timely completion of projects in order to meet and/or exceed client expectations.

You will:

• Manage and coordinate project staff and sub-contractors to ensure safe, cost effective, efficient and timely completion of projects in order to meet and/or exceed client expectations
• Liaise between Rangeland and the Client. Foster a relationship with the client that ensures both companies’ success; and act as a technical professional resource for the successful completion of multiple challenging projects.
• Manage all phases of an EP/EPCM/EPC project, including: project planning/execution, engineering construction, through to pre-commissioning and start-up, and project close-out
• Develop and maintain communication channels with clients, stake holders, and internal personnel to ensure that work flows smoothly, as well as provide first class engineering services
• Oversee the development of project budgets, schedules and reports
• Apply rigorous change management procedures to ensure project does not exceed established budget
• Support the Leadership team in pursuit of new work; develop relationships and liaise with potential clients, qualification presentations, active participation in proposal preparation, submission and award discussions
• Mentor and instruct team members on design requirements, schedules, and cost estimates, as required on projects

You have:

• Strong Project Management background including:
• Scope and Change Management
• Budget and Schedule Development and Forecasting
• Reporting and Scheduling
• Construction Support
• Minimum 15 years in an EP/EPC/ EPCM environment, construction and/or operations supporting the Oil and Gas industry, including at least 5 years of responsibility as a project manager
• Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
• Experience in NGL midstream fractionation, in both Processing Facilities and Cavern Development is highly desired; will consider Petro-Chemical, and other O&G project experience
• Experience in managing greenfield, and large brownfield projects is required ($100Mn-$1 Bn)
• Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is considered an asset.
