Job Description:We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified full-time Personal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated fitness professional with a strong educational background and a passion for helping clients achieve their health, wellness, and performance goals. You will work closely with our members, providing personalized training programs and guidance to help them reach their full potential. Please note, candidates with Kinesiology background AND license will be given priority and increased compensation.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ current fitness levels, goals, and limitations.Develop customized fitness programs tailored to each client’s needs and goals.Provide one-on-one, one-on-two, or small group training sessions (in-person and virtually); ensuring clients receive proper guidance, motivation, and support.Monitor clients’ progress, adjust training programs as needed, and track their achievements.Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and lifestyle choices.Maintain a clean and safe training environment, including equipment and training areas.Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, research, and best practices.Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professionalism.Collaborate with other trainers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:Canadian accredited personal training certification.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a personal trainer.Relevant academic degree in sports science, strength & conditioning, nutrition, kinesiology, or a related field.CPR and First Aid certification.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent motivational and coaching abilities.Dedication to continuing education and professional development.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Preference will be given to applicants that are actively registered with the BCAK (Kinesiology)

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $27.00-$40.00 per coaching hour. Plus opportunity for multiple revenue streams: group training, classes, online coaching, and hybrid management roles.
