Career Counsellor (master’s level)

Permanent, Part time (3 days)
The opportunity
Help clients assess their strengths at work, provide them with a framework for resolving career planning issues and advise them on effective job search strategies so they can establish realistic career goals. Service is offered over the phone and through video.

What You Will Do
- Provide career counselling or employment counseling over the phone and through video;
- Administer orientation tests and interpret the results to explore career path;
- Provide a structure for clients to self-assess;
- Guide clients through the steps and the choice of effective strategies to adopt to achieve their professional goals
- Perform the administrative tasks required in connection with the assigned cases.
Who We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree career counselling, guidance or related field is mandatory;
- In good standing with a career counselling College or relevant association;
- 3 years of post-master’s experience in the career counselling field;
- Experience working with an adult population;
- Experience administering and interpreting professional aptitude assessment tools (Level B).
