Our client, a large and well established manufacturing company is looking to hire an Accountant to their team to support the continued growth of the business. As a member of the Finance Team, the individual will support the Plant Controller and others Accountants where needed. They have multiple locations in Brampton, Mississauga and Etobicoke.

Job Details
- Manage plant month-end closing
- Prepare JE and accruals
- Assist in preparation of month-end results and analysis reports
- Prepare, analyze and publish plant metrics
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for Balance Sheet accts
- Collaborate in annual budget and forecast
- Handle capital projects: review, analyze, acquire approval to close the projects
- Review and process invoices to ensure it is paid in time.
- Assist in calculating and analyzing RUSP/ Cost Savings.
- Review and analyze PPV.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of working experience with Manufacturing and Costing background
- Proven understanding of standard costing
- Hands on with plant annual budget/forecast, plant results analysis and reporting, accruals
- Knowledge in SAP, Essbase, AS400, Cognos is highly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skill, with Pivots, Vlookup/Index Match, Sumifs etc.
- CPA designation Preferred / Undergraduate business degree or equivalent working experience.
