The Opportunity:
Our client is a large manufacturer of plastic products within the commercial/food sector and located in Etobicoke, ON. They are a producer of various shopping bags and pop can liners using 100% recyclable materials. They are currently in need of a Production Supervisor to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Will be required to manage a production team of 40 to 50 employees
- Ensure that all Health and Safety protocols and procedures are adhered to
- Provide a working atmosphere that is positive, structured, and high level of support
- Implement new continuous improvement initiatives
- KPI tracking and reporting
- Ensure a high-quality standard on all products produced
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Previous experience within the plastics industry is an asset
- Experience overseeing multiple lines is a must
- Knowledge of Continuous improvement processes is required
- KPI tracking experience is required
