WE NEED
We’re looking to hire a Vice President of Finance to join our executive management team based out of Surrey, BC.
As the VP of Finance at Unleashd Technologies, you will be a strategic leader, overseeing all aspects of financial management and contributing significantly to our long-term growth. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to shape and execute financial strategies, ensuring the company’s fiscal health and sustainability. Your role will encompass financial operations, business modeling & analytics, risk management, compliance, and reporting, making you a key player in steering our innovative company to greater heights.
YOU LOVE
- Developing and executing comprehensive financial strategies aligned with company objectives, driving long-term growth and sustainability.
- Overseeing and executing day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and accounting, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Digging into data, financial and other metrics that makes the business ticks in order to assist with strategic and tactical planning, looking for efficiencies and growth opportunities.
- Providing timely and accurate financial reports to executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators, financial metrics, and actionable insights.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, implementing robust controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks, actively participating in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams and external finance related vendors, providing financial insights to support decision-making and contribute to strategic planning.
YOU HAVE
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field along with your CPA designation.
- Proven experience in a finance leadership role within a SaaS business, with at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey financial information effectively.
- A demonstrated track record in project or timeline-based delivery management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a finance team.
- The ability to think strategically, providing insights into financial implications of business decisions.
- Ability to speak and write in both English and French is an asset.
