We are searching for an experienced Property Manager for our client, a family based real estate group of companies, based in Vancouver. In this role, you will be assisting the Director of Property Management & Leasing in the property management team. You will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of residential, industrial, commercial, office and retail properties. This position will offer you growth, exposure, and responsibility.
The main duties of this person are:
• Manage properties on a daily basis – liaise with tenants ensuring excellent customer service and maintain established relationships.
• Conduct showings and weekly inspections of rental properties.
• Interact and communicate effectively on financial performance, property operations and tenant relations.
• Assist the Director of Property Management in preparing annual operating budgets, quarterly management reports, ensuring tenant billings and year end adjustments are correct.
• Administer leases, resolve unpaid rents, lease renewals.
• Tender, recommend and supervise service contracts.
• Maintain strong relations with trades and contractors.
• Respond to after hours emergency calls.
Must Haves:
• 3+ years in property management experience in Residential and Commercial is required.
• Knowledge of MRI Real Estate Software and asset.
• Experience managing major renovations or tenant improvements is a significant asset.
• Familiar with Residential Tenancy Act, RTB, preparation/attendance at hearings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Willing to take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Have a reliable vehicle and driver’s license.
Working Model: Onsite 60% / Out on the field 40% / Flexible
