Intelcom Looking for Learning & Development Specialist at Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area Full Time

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity in our Human Capital team! We are currently seeking a talented individual to join us as a key contributor, responsible for leading the execution of Intelcom training programs in western Canada.

You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of standardized training plans throughout our delivery stations. Collaborating closely with our operations department, you will have a key impact in creating a learning environment and actively supporting the growth and advancement of our people and teams.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

• Ensure the regional deployment of learning programs and standard training plans for employees in stations.
• Facilitate training sessions and manage cohorts of new employees throughout their onboarding journey.
• Provide coaching to team members and support skill development related to operational processes, systems, products, and leadership skills.
• Oversee regional peer coaches and offer them train-the-trainer tools and learning material.
• In collaboration with the central talent management team, identify and monitor learning gaps, and ensure it is adjusted in the training plan.
• Provide refresher training sessions to current employees on key processes, new products, and technologies.
• Organize and co-facilitate regional IDC forums.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions, SM exchanges, and oversee community learning networks.
• Support the content development of new learning material.
• Manage and update the training deployment status via the Learning Management System

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND SPECIAL PROJECTS

• Master all standard operations procedures and keep track of new processes, products and technologies.
• In collaboration with the operational excellence team, use data analysis to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Support the deployment of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the deployment of new systems, such as scheduling tools and time tracking processes.
• Support the deployment of a communication framework in stations.

OPERATIONS SUPPORT

• Provide coaching, job-shadowing and support to new station managers and supervisors.
• Provide support for emergency replacement of station managers

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Proven skills and experience in training and coaching
• Proven background and experience in logistics and transportation management
• Self-motivated
• Manage multiple competing priorities
• Strong understanding of Intelcom processes and tools
• Strong leadership skills
• Demonstrates a methodical and experiential approach in delivering training.
• Shows a drive for learning and continuous improvement.
• Traveling and mobility: 30 to 40%
