Job Description
Are you an autonomous, versatile, dynamic, and orderly person? If so, we are looking for someone who acts as a liaison between drivers, in-house mechanics and external suppliers. So, to manage the repair requests for maintenance of our vehicles.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the various requests for maintenance and repairs of vehicles and forward them to the person in charge of vehicle maintenance.
- Prepare work orders at closing.
- Link external work orders to subcontractors’ invoices and prepare them for closing.
- Follow up on invoices with the accounting department.
- Update vehicle files (physical file and MIR file).
- Follow up by phone or email for the work done by our subcontractors.
- Make appointments with our subcontractors at the request of the maintenance manager.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and have a positive attitude.
- Be comfortable with computer systems.
- Be structured and organized.
- Be able to communicate in English (French is an asset).
- Ability to listen and take decisions quickly.
- Have a good knowledge of automotive and heavy mechanics (Asset).
- Knowledge of MTO standards (Asset).
- Experience in working with lift trucks, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
- Excellent coordination, focus and dedication to following protocols and procedure.
- Strong adaptability to change, organizational skills and attentive to detail.
