Renowned for creating thoughtfully planned neighbourhoods and homes, they are now looking for a visionary leader to spearhead their product development initiatives in their GTA Low Rise division.
Your New Role
As Director Pre-Construction, you’ll lead a collaborative effort across various internal departments. This includes Architecture, Land Development, Sales and Marketing, Purchasing, and Construction – to ensure that Mattamy’s future products align with market demand, sustainability goals, and municipal requirements.
Your focus on sustainability and innovation will be vital in integrating cutting-edge features into their product designs while managing costs within operational budgets and supporting the broader organizational objectives. Collaboration will be at the heart of your responsibilities, working closely with all internal departments to ensure a cohesive vision and seamless project execution.
This role is more than just overseeing projects; it’s about guiding and nurturing a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results. You’ll provide mentorship, coaching, and support while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Remaining current with industry trends and regulatory changes will ensure that Mattamy Homes stays at the forefront of the real estate and construction landscape.
What Sets You Apart
The ideal candidate for this role has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, along with over a decade of progressive project management experience. Your ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, technological acumen and problem-solving abilities will ensure success in the role. Additional qualifications such as an MBA or familiarity with building drawings, codes, and site specifications would be an asset.
