Join the Security Architecture team at Zebra Technologies! We are looking for an experienced security engineer looking to lead while being in an individual contributor. Be involved in defining security strategy, solving security challenges, and leading initiatives to improve the organization’s security posture.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Network Engineering to ensure security interests are achieved across the physical and virtual network
- Design, configure, and maintain cloud-native and cloud-agnostic security tools to protect IaaS and PaaS investments
- Support the design and administration of SASE platform
- Perform regular and ad hoc analysis directly in tools
- Provide Level 3/4 support as organizational subject matter expert
- Monitor and report on efficacy of security controls, recommending and driving enhancements with stakeholders
- Lead small to mid-size projects to improve security posture
- Develop and/or enhance security architecture documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Level 1/2
- Contribute to overall security design and capability roadmap
- Provide backup support for other security solutions
- Engage stakeholders directly
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree Required.
- 8+ years industry experience (e.g. IT and/or Security)
- Cloud information security experience
- Experience leading complex initiatives or projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Security architecture and design experience
- Experience working in global enterprise with diverse IT architecture, both on-prem and cloud.
- Cloud platform-specific security experience
- 3rd party compliance/frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS Benchmarks
- CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or applicable security certifications
- Active engagement with the information security community (e.g. published papers, speaking engagements)
- Ability to implement new systems and tools
- Experience managing IT documentation processes
- Advanced analytical skills
- Advanced demonstration of project managing IT solutions
- Manages in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvement
