Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a crucial part of the success of our business by ensuring our vendors are paid on time and accurately.
To be successful, we are looking for a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who works with a high level of integrity and understanding of confidentiality. The successful person has high attention to detail and can adapt, multi-task, prioritize tasks, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Assist in facilitating monthly department goals
- Process and review vendor statements and ensure efficient and accurate processing
- Identify possible process improvements and investigate value-added solutions
- Maintain strong mine site and vendor relations
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- High digital literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite®
Experience in a fast-paced clerical or accounts payable setting would be an asset
